Shrimp Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 3 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 Yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup Snow peas
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a small sauce pan over medium heat combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger
  2. In a small bowl combine cornstarch with 2 tbsp water
  3. Once sauce begins to boil, stir in cornstarch mixture
  4. Once thickened remove from heat
  5. In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat
  6. Add red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and snow peas
  7. Once tender remove vegetables onto plate
  8. Add remaining olive oil to skillet
  9. Add shrimp, salt, and pepper
  10. Once golden, reduce heat to low
  11. Add vegetables and sauce, stir to combine
  12. Serve over rice
