Brown Sugar Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine pork, salt, chili flakes, egg, sour cream, parsley, bread crumbs, and olive oil
  3. Roll mixture to form balls and place unto baking dish
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes
  5. Heat a sauce pan over medium heat, add butter
  6. Once melted add onion, saute until golden
  7. Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and vinegar
  8. Once simmering remove from heat
  9. Remove foil from baking dish, and turn meatballs
  10. Reduce heat to 350°
  11. Cover meatballs in sauce thoroughly
  12. Bake for additional 20 minutes
  13. Stir meatballs in sauce then serve over noodles
