String Bean Chicken


  • 2 Chicken breasts, halved and sliced
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 Onion, sliced into semi thin wedges
  • 4 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 12 oz Green beans, trimmed and cut into bite size pieces


  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and sugar
  2. Add chicken breasts, and coat thoroughly
  3. Marinate for 30 minutes
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet, over medium heat
  5. Add chicken, stir constantly until cooked through
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon
  7. Add onions and garlic into skillet
  8. Once golden, add water and green beans
  9. Once beans are tender, return chicken into skillet
  10. Stir until heated through
  11. Serve with brown rice
