Creamy Chicken Gravy



  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 Chicken thighs, cut into 1′ pieces
  • 1/2 Onion, diced
  • 2 Carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 tsp Garlic salt
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 12 oz Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour (optional)
  • 1 tsp dill


  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium heat
  2. Add chicken pieces, saute until cooked through
  3. Then add in onions, cook until golden
  4. Next add carrots, saute until softened
  5. Add garlic salt, salt, pepper, and sour cream
  6. If gravy is too runny mix together flour and 2 tbsp water and stir into skillet
  7. Add dill and cook until simmering
  8. Serve over buckwheat or mashed potatoes
