Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Chicken thighs, cut into 1′ pieces
- 1/2 Onion, diced
- 2 Carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 tsp Garlic salt
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 12 oz Sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour (optional)
- 1 tsp dill
Instructions:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium heat
- Add chicken pieces, saute until cooked through
- Then add in onions, cook until golden
- Next add carrots, saute until softened
- Add garlic salt, salt, pepper, and sour cream
- If gravy is too runny mix together flour and 2 tbsp water and stir into skillet
- Add dill and cook until simmering
- Serve over buckwheat or mashed potatoes
I will have to say I have never heard of putting carrots in gravy. I may be “chicken” to try it.
