Pepper Shrimp Pasta



  • 8 oz Angel hair pasta
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • 1 lb Uncooked shrimp
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 3 Cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper


  1. Prepare pasta as directed on packaging, drain all but 1/2 cup of the pasta water
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet, over medium/high heat
  3. Add shrimp, saute until about half way done
  4. Mix in breadcrumbs, red pepper flakes, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper
  5. Saute until shrimp is cooked through
  6. Add pasta and reserved water, cook until no water remains
  7. Serve garnished with parsley
