Easy Teriyaki Chicken



  • 3-4 Skinless chicken thighs (leave on fat)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic salt
  • 5 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch


  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, on both sides
  2. Heat skillet on low heat, add chicken thighs
  3. Once chicken is golden flip over
  4. In a sauce pan mix together soy sauce, water, ground ginger, garlic salt, brown sugar, and honey
  5. In a cup mix together cornstarch and 2 tbsp water
  6. Once sauce is sizzling, slowly stir in cornstarch mixture
  7. Once sauce is desired thickness, remove from heat
  8. Once chicken is cooked through, remove from heat and cut into strips
  9. return chicken to skillet with half of the sauce
  10. Saute for a few minutes
  11. Serve over brown rice, pour remaining sauce over chicken once serving
