Main Course

Honey Garlic Shrimp

  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Minced ginger
  • 1 lb Uncooked shrimp
  • 2 tsp Olive oil

  1. Mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a medium bowl
  2. Set half of the mixture aside for further use
  3. Add shrimp into bowl and cover with sauce, marinate for about 15 min
  4. Heat olive oil in skillet on medium heat, then add drained shrimp, discard remaining marinade
  5. Cook shrimp for about 10 minutes, mixing occasionally, I prefer a little crunch so I left them on a little longer
  6. Drain liquid from skillet, then pour in the remaining sauce, and cook for another 5 minutes
  7. Serve with brown rice
